While Joe Biden may have been inaugurated as president today, it’s Lady Gaga that’s taken Twitter by storm. While Biden may have spoken about the need for unity during his address, Gaga already had it covered.
She united the internet. Everyone agreed that she looked like she was about to open the Hunger Games.

From Gaga’s giant bird brooch – reminiscent of Katniss Everdeen’s mockingjay pin – to the superstar’s high fashion look that was inspired by Effie Trinket, both the left and right came together to make a few jokes. Even the movie franchise’s Twitter account had to get in on the fun.
Gaga clarified on Twitter that it was not, in fact, a symbol of fictional rebellion, but a dove carrying an olive branch.
“May we all make peace with each other,” she added.
“And may the odds be ever in your favor,” the internet replied.
